Balloon Garland FAQs
Can I assemble the garland day(s) before the event?
Absolutely - in fact, we recommend you do!
Since balloons for your balloon garland will be air-filled, they can actually last 5-7 days (out of direct sun and heat!)
We usually recommend setting up the garland 1-2 days before the event.
How long does it take to assemble?
Good news: assembly is fun, and customers tell us daily that it's a lot easier than they expected!
Assembly may take 45-120 minutes depending on the size garland you order. We HIGHLY recommend using an air pump to speed up the process.
How do I hang it?
If you're looking to hang the garland from a wall, for a sturdy or secure hang, we recommend a product similar to "command hooks". Attach the hooks to your wall, and uses string to hang the garland around the hooks.
If you want to use the garland outside, you can also use Command Hooks if hanging from a wall or entryway.
If you'd like the garland to be free-standing, you will need something like a Backdrop Stand, which you can find on Amazon.com.
Are the balloons matte?
Most balloons naturally have some amount of shine to them. If you want your balloons to look extra matte, they will need to oxidize.
Oxidization occurs when the balloons come in contact with oxygen and sunlight!
We don't recommend leaving the balloons out in the sun (sunlight and heat can cause popping), but one easy technique is to blow them up early 2-3 days early! The longer balloons are blown up, the more matte they will become.
What if my order doesn't arrive on time?
At Ellie's we take pride in having quick turnaround times to help get your supplies to you in time for your party. However, if for any reason your order doesn't arrive on time, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. You can always contact us to check on your shipment and we'll do our very best to help make sure it makes it for your special day!

Our balloons are manufactured in the USA and Europe. Our kits are lovingly assembled and shipped from our central Florida studio.
Are the balloons biodegradable?
YES! Our balloons are made from natural rubber latex, manufactured to the highest quality and safety standards. All of our latex balloons are 100% biodegradable.
